My story
In 1997 I was diagnosed with an anaplastic astrocytoma (gr 3), under way of becoming a glioblastoma multiforme (gr 4). It was a very lethal type of brain cancer. I underwent surgery and radiotherapy. Then I received an experimental treatment with an antihormone, and it worked ...
I've lost my job, but since 2005 I am trying to help my fellow-sufferers and their families.
I am disabled, but still manage to sail our little boat, together with my wife Lia and daughter Aster. Their support and love are essential to me.
